Craftsmanship - Commercial Exterior - Gold. Earned for its work at the Nautilus Cove Condominiums in Panama City Beach, Fla. VCGFL provided a comprehensive property inspection, damage assessment, emergency services, tarping, and re-roofing of 18 buildings totaling 260,000 square feet. The property had endured severe property damage after Hurricane Michael.
"Remaining innovative is key, and utilizing every tool that we have at our fingertips is paramount to our success," said Shanton. "We use state-of-the-art technology to ensure safety standards are monitored with the most advanced tools on the market."
Craftsmanship - Commercial Exterior - Silver. Earned for its work at Circle Bay Yacht Club and Condominiums in Stuart, Fla. VCGFL conducted a full inspection and found severe water, wind, and hail damaged roofing; pavement drainage issues; damaged metal carports; and outdated HVAC and electrical systems that were no longer up to code. Many of the condos were dated to the 1970s, '80s and '90s. VCGFL reroofed 15 buildings totaling 150,000 square feet; replaced over 52,000 square feet of damaged carport metal; repaved 346,500 square feet of new asphalt; updated the HVAC and electrical systems. Overall, the property received a total makeover that provided enhanced design, aesthetics, and energy savings, while meeting current building codes.
Safety Team of the Year Award - Silver. Earned thanks to best practices, accreditations, protocols and education in safety. VCGFL uses advanced technology including EarthCam webcam services and 4G LTE TrueLook cameras that provide high definition security and project time-lapsing video on each and every project in progress; Matterport 3D cameras that record a full-scale 360-degree three-dimensional view of jobsites; aerial drone photography and video; mapping and surveying services to enhance safety measures while providing advanced documentation and enhanced reporting.
