SAN FRANCISCO — Leading the way for eco-friendly roofing in the San Francisco Bay Area, Wedge Roofing moves toward clean energy by adding Ford’s first Hybrid Truck to their fleet.
The new 2021 Ford F-150 Hybrid Truck is just the first step in the certified green roofing contractor’s plan to convert their entire fleet of 47 commercial vehicles to all-electric to meet California’s goal of 100% zero emissions by 2035.
As a certified Green Contractor, Wedge Roofing is committed to eco-friendly roofing solutions, offering its expertise in sustainable, environmentally responsible and energy-efficient roof systems.
In partnership with Solar Powered Auto Dealer, Henry Curtis Ford, in Sonoma County, the new Hybrid Truck is equipped with the all-new 3.5L PowerBoost™ full hybrid engine with an EPA estimated range of 700 miles on one tank of gas.
“As a leader within our industry who cares deeply about the health and future of our environment, I wanted to set an example and take action to reduce our carbon footprint,” said Ralph Wedge, founder of Wedge Roofing. “This represents our first step in that plan, with an end goal of a full conversion of our fleet to electric.”
