Polyglass U.S.A. Inc. recently had the opportunity to team up with Zenith Roofing Services LLC to provide a much-needed update to the roofing system for Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth, Texas (RMDHFW). Zenith Roofing provided the labor and expertise to complete a full reroofing of the facility; Polyglass donated the roofing products needed to complete the project.
The Ronald McDonald House project is the latest charity project in an ongoing partnership between Zenith Roofing and Polyglass. The two companies have a mutually beneficial business relationship, but they have also found a common kinship in giving back, which is a key core value of both companies. As a result, Polyglass and Zenith collaborate regularly on numerous projects that give back to the community.
Zenith has supported RMDHFW for many years. As Zenith's founder Allan Rodger explains, “as long as we’re in business, Zenith will do the Christmas decorations for RMDHFW and the families they support.”
When Zenith approached Polyglass to help with this project, it presented a unique opportunity for the Zenith family and Polyglass family to combine forces to help an organization dedicated to supporting other families.
"Zenith has always supported Polyglass products for their 'tried and true' manufacturing — and their quality of products and people," said Blaine Sibby, Zenith’s director of business development.
The Polyglass team was thrilled to contribute, and it carried a special sense of meaning for Chris Martinez and Dylan Homa, two Polyglass representatives who participated in the RMHFW project on-site.
“It’s a crazy time for us now in 2020, but these families who are going through this, it’s a crazy time for them through all this hardship,” said Martinez. “Our company talks a lot about family and family values … giving back has always been a part of our organization, and for Dylan and I to be here to be able to give back to something in our own community … that makes it special for us.
“We’d like to thank Zenith for allowing us to be part of this. And for Ronald McDonald House, we’d like to thank them for doing what they do, with or without us, because they’re going to be here every day no matter what.”
