The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) and the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) are holding National Roofing Weeks to celebrate and highlight the importance of the industry.
Held annually the first week of June, this year’s NRCA National Roofing Week will be held June 6-12. Last year’s National Roofing Week was held in August due to COVID-19. Meanwhile, the NRCA’s neighbors to the north, the CRCA, is holding National Roofing Week June 7-11, making the event a North American National Roofing Week.
In both cases, the annual event is held to increase awareness of the significance of roofs to every home and business and shine a spotlight on the good deeds the roofing industry accomplishes. Roofs are the first line of defense against the elements, and are often taken for granted until they fall into disrepair.
Roofing companies, regardless of whether they’re members of either association, are encouraged to participate through social media posts using the hashtag #NationalRoofingWeek in the U.S. and #RoofingWeekCanada and #RoofingCanada in Canada.
NRCA members can enter a “We are Family” Raffle, sponsored by A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply. Three winners will have their choice of $500 worth of prizes for their roofing families. Companies can enter by submitting a photo to the NRCA, with winners announced on June 11.
Sponsors of the NRCA National Roofing Week are ABC Supply Co. Inc., A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply, Carlisle SynTec Systems, GAF, HomeAdvisor, National Women in Roofing, Professional Roofing and Polyglass.
