CHICAGO — The Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC), the leading North American trade association for pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape manufacturers and affiliate suppliers, officially announced its inaugural Tape Week event, taking place May 2-5, 2022, in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The only knowledge-building and networking event for PSA tape professionals, Tape Week is specifically designed to offer something for everyone in the industry and its related verticals.
During the four-day event, PSTC will invite attendees to advance, engage, discover, influence and thrive among their colleagues, connections and key-industry players. Educational sessions delivered as part of the standard Technical and Markets & Applications Tracks, and the new Tape Academy will cover 10 market segments and eight industry verticals, focused on PSA tape usage in the building and construction, transportation and additional emerging market spaces.
“After years of preparation and postponements due to ongoing COVID-19 health and safety precautions, we look forward to officially holding our inaugural Tape Week next spring,” said PSTC President Joe Tocci. “Tape Week really does offer something for just about everyone in the PSA tape industry. Whether you are interested in increasing your knowledge through our technical courses, walking our Exhibitor Showcase to see the new things coming from our suppliers, learning more about strategic markets that tape manufacturers are focused on growing, or just networking with colleagues, we promise you will have an excellent experience.”
Among the various additions to PSTC’s yearly event, including flexible learning options and extra networking time, Tape Week welcomes all attendees to the Exhibitor Showcase. The ultimate strategic networking event, the showcase encourages participation in the Innovation Poster Session. Participating exhibitors are given the opportunity to educate attendees on their organizations’ groundbreaking products, techniques and processes.
“Tape Week lets us interact with a whole range of customers and some suppliers from across the industry all in one location and in the same few days,” said Graeme Roan, global marketing manager – adhesives at Synthomer.
In addition to opportunities for organizations to showcase their products, the event also presents a strategic venue to grow brand awareness through sponsorship. New opportunities for growth-mode organizations at Tape Week include the ability to sponsor daily breakfasts, a welcome package flyer and an Exhibitor Showcase floor shoutout.
