The Roofing Alliance, the foundation of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), announced that Executive Director Bennett Judson has decided to retire at the end of 2021.
"Bennett’s dedication to our industry shows in many achievements that span more than 40 years of service to NRCA, with the past 17 years spent leading, serving and growing the Roofing Alliance’s philanthropic and educational initiatives," the Roofing Alliance said in an email.
Judson's integral contributions to the Roofing Alliance include bolstering its Most Valuable Player Awards program; the Construction Management Schools initiative, especially the student competition; the Ronald McDonald House Charities partnership; and multiple technology and research projects.
"I'm very proud to say that I have been involved in the industry through the NRCA for 40 years, so I was very, very young when I started," Judson told RC in a podcast. "I actually have been involved with the Alliance since 2003 ... it's a great organization, it's such a team of professional people, but they're so down to earth. These are very successful business men, business women, and yet, they're down to earth. It's a pleasure to work with them, they're very passionate about the industry, and they're very active and involved."
According to the Alliance, Judson will continue her involvement in specific programs moving forward, more of which will be announced in the coming months.
For 25 years, the Roofing Alliance has been committed to shaping the industry’s future by funding education, research, scholarships and philanthropic initiatives, all for the purpose of securing the industry’s future excellence.
