The Chicago Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) is welcoming roofing professionals to the Windy City for its annual Trade Show and Seminars on Jan. 19-21 with safety in mind.
Held at the Drury Lane Conference Center in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., the trade show offers over six hours of Continuing Education Credits and more than 150 manufacturers and suppliers displaying, demonstrating and promoting the latest products and technology in the roofing industry. The CRCA’s Trade Show and Seminars are free to attend.
As COVID-19 cases continue to rise around the country, CRCA officials are asking attendees to take precautions. Individuals are encouraged to not attend if they’re experiencing any sickness, COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms. The CRCA is also complying with CDC, state and county guidelines requiring face covering for all attendees, staff and exhibitors. Proof of vaccination is not required to attend.
The event begins with a presentation at 3 p.m. on Jan. 19 on leading a multigenerational workforce featuring Carolyn Stern of EI Experience, followed by a kick-off cocktail party at 5 p.m. On Jan. 20, attendees who pre-registered can enjoy a “Roofing Week in Chicago” industry breakfast. Exhibit and show hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 20 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 21.
