AGAWAM, Mass. — OMG Roofing Products will offer a minimum of 10 fully paid spots in the National Roofing Contractors Association's (NRCA) ProCertification® Thermoplastic Systems Installer hands-on performance exams during the upcoming IRE Show, Feb. 1-3, in New Orleans.
NRCA ProCertification is designed to develop and recognize competent and high-performing roofing and waterproofing workers. It is expected that building owners, municipalities and insurance companies will require NRCA ProCertified installers and foremen to be on job sites in the not-too-distant future.
Roof system installers who achieve the designation of NRCA ProCertified Thermoplastic Systems Installer benefit by receiving national, professional recognition and validation of their skills and knowledge for installing thermoplastic roof systems, as well as pride in their professionalism.
“NRCA ProCertification is an outstanding program that recognizes the professionalism of commercial roofing contractors and roof system installers,” said Monte Horst, vice president of sales and marketing for OMG. “We are honored to be part of this effort, and to help encourage roofing contractors and installers to participate in this program to get the industry certification and recognition they deserve.”
Achieving the designation of ProCertified Thermoplastic Systems Installer involves three easy steps. Participants must complete an online application to document they meet eligibility requirements; pass an online low-slope knowledge exam; and pass a thermoplastic systems hands-on performance exam, which will be given during the 2022 IRE.
Interested contractors should reach out to their OMG Roofing sales representative, or visit omgroofing.com/nrca-procert for more information.
