The North/East Roofing Contractors Association (NERCA) invites roofing professionals to New Jersey for its 94th Annual Convention and Trade Show on March 1-3.

Held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, the annual convention will feature nearly 200 booths displaying products and services designed for roofing professionals. In addition, attendees can take part in free educational seminars held by industry experts on subjects like technical issues, solar roofing, contract provisions, metal deck replacement and ladder safety.

To address the ongoing workforce shortage, the NERCA is holding a three-hour interactive seminar on how to become a "Best Place to Work" that will focus on how to hire and keep the best talent for your business. The seminar will be led by Jennifer L'Estrange of Red Clover, a strategic HR consulting firm.

On March 3, attendees can attend the NERCA's annual business meeting and breakfast featuring a presentation from Philadelphia Eagles legend Vince Papale, whose career was portrayed on the big screen in Disney's 2006 film "Invincible." He was most recently honored by the Eagles and their fans and was named "Most Outstanding Special Teams Player" during a celebration of the Eagles' 75th anniversary.

The event also includes plenty of networking opportunities with a welcome reception on March 1 and a happy hour reception on March 2.
