Elite Roofing Supply announced it will be opening a branch in North Hollywood, Calif., its 23rd branch, later this spring.

The new branch will expand Elite Roofing Supply's South California footprint north into the San Fernando Valley, making it the fifth branch in California. Managing Partner Phillip McCullum and Regional Vice President Steve Whipple will lead the new branch.

“Our customers have been asking us to head north for quite some time but we wanted to wait until we had the right person to head up the efforts. Phillip brings a new, fresh young energy to Elite and we are excited to welcome him to the team,” said Whipple in a written statement.

McCullum is a California native, graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, D1 athlete, who has experience in distribution as both a market manager and branch manager in the greater Los Angeles area. 

“I am excited to join the Elite family where it is evident that their core focus is on their customers' needs,” said McCullum in a written statement. “Elite is the largest locally owned independent distributor and I wanted to be apart of it.”
