Registration is now open for the Western States Roofing Contractors Association's (WSRCA) 2022 Western Roofing Expo, a premier regional roofing and waterproofing event. The expo returns to Las Vegas Sept. 24-26 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel.
Early bird pricing for the expo is available until June 30 and includes 10% off full registration packages. This year's show includes an expanded exhibit floor with more than 170 companies offering the latest products and solutions, a new Family Feud-style game experience and the Roofing Games competition alongside educational sessions, fundraising events and more.
The expo kicks off on Sept. 24 with the Bob Porter Golf Tournament and sporting clays tournament. The fan-favorite events are fundraisers for the Davis Memorial Foundation, which provides scholarships to individuals looking to further their education, especially in the construction industry. That same evening, guests can enjoy the welcome event and auction, with everything from travel trips, jewelry, roofing items and more up for grabs. Proceeds from the auction benefit the Davis Memorial Foundation.
Educational sessions begin on Sept. 25, including seminars where attendees can earn AiA and IIBEC CEUs while learning about best practices. Visit the schedule of events for a full list of sessions.
On Sept. 25, Trent Cotney and John Kenney will host "Roofers Feud" and "Roofing Trivia" interactive game experiences on the trade show stage, highlighting aspects of roofing trivia including the history of roofing. Both Cotney and Kenney are collectors of roofing memorabilia, with the presentation including questions on historical photos, advertising and specification manuals.
A legislative luncheon on Sept. 25 will have Craig Brightup of The Brightup Group and McKay Daniels, COO of the National Roofing Contractors Association, discussing critical issues affecting the commercial and residential roofing industry. The following day, another luncheon will feature Eric Dittelman, a mentalist who combines improv humor and mind reading. He has been featured on TV series like "America's Got Talent," "Ellen," "Live with Kelly and Ryan," and "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" and has performed around the country.
National Women in Roofing is inviting attendees to join them on Sept. 26 for a breakfast conversation with the women on the WSRCA board. Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and mimosas while discussing how networking and personal growth can help you excel at your company.
Finally, don't miss the Roofing Games, the industry’s first official set of competitions sanctioned by a roofing association. Participants compete in a series of events that challenge their knowledge and skill set level pertaining to equipment, material and processes in the roofing industry. Participants are judged on accuracy, aesthetics, speed and workmanship.
