WAUKESHA, Wis. — MTL Holdings has expanded its family of brands with the acquisition of Citadel Architectural Products.
Known for its production of high-quality products, customer service, and on-time delivery, Citadel shares MTL’s focus on customer-centric solutions. Citadel, a manufacturer of composite panels and systems for the commercial cladding industry, extends the MTL Holdings portfolio of products for customers who value full envelope solutions.
With the acquisition of Citadel, MTL announced Josh Jacobi as the vice president and general manager of MTL’s Wall Division. Jacobi brings over 30 years of experience in the metal industry, specializing in product enhancement and development to provide solutions for the use of metal in the building envelope.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Citadel and their employees, along with their independent rep organizations, into our family of brands. Their reliable, customer-first approach to specified products and independent rep development strategy fit seamlessly into our existing brands, Metal-Era and Hickman Edge Systems,” says Tony Mallinger, president and CEO of MTL Holdings. “Josh Jacobi brings a wealth of knowledge to the business, and we look forward to his contributions. Under his leadership, we’ll continue our strategy of investing in employees, equipment, and manufacturing process to expand the business.
Mallinger says the addition of Citadel and its Indiana-based manufacturing facility allows MTL Holdings to expand its product offerings to current and new OEM partners, contractor partners, and prototype developers through a multiple channel strategy and Citadel’s ISO 9001 certified manufacturing process.
“We will look to build upon Citadel’s already stellar reputation through expansion of product offerings to the specifier community, coordinating tested and engineered systems to allow for a single source solution at the roof-to-wall transition of the building envelope," Jacobi said.
