MALVERN, Pa. — Saint-Gobain North America has been recognized with three Globees® in the 2022 CEO World Awards program for its work to attract, retain and empower women in the manufacturing industry. Specifically, the company was honored with two Gold Globees® in the categories of Achievement in Women Empowerment and Achievement in Mentorship and Sponsorship of Women, and a Silver Globee® in Achievement in Developing and Promoting Women.

The annual CEO World Awards celebrate the achievements of leaders, executives, and their management teams behind the year’s most outstanding initiatives. This annual awards program recognizes individuals and teams who set industry benchmarks for excellence. All organizations private or public, corporations, nonprofits, associations, vendors, and government organizations worldwide and from every industry are eligible to participate.

The awards presented to Saint-Gobain North America include:
- Gold Globee® for Achievement in Women Empowerment: Through leadership development, mentoring, networking, and community outreach, Saint-Gobain North America and its Women’s Network Employee Resource Group (ERG) are advancing goals for a more inclusive workplace and setting the standard for ERGs in the industry. Saint-Gobain has diversified its team, achieving the highest level of gender equality in the organization’s history.
- Gold Globee® for Achievement in Mentorship and Sponsorship of Women: Saint-Gobain North America has been recognized for building a path forward for women in manufacturing by supporting the professional development and career advancement of its women employees. The Saint-Gobain Women’s Network has grown to 10 regional chapters and works with company leadership to provide mentorship opportunities for women and other impactful programs like seminars and professional development days.
- Silver Globee® for Achievement in Developing and Promoting Women: Saint-Gobain North America has been recognized for its work to attract, retain, and advance women by increasing representation across the organization and removing any barriers of entry that may prevent women candidates from applying to job postings, including potential gender biases and gender-coded language in recruitment practices. In addition, the company continues to work to build an inclusive culture by offering flexible schedules, remote positions, and other hybrid work arrangements to better accommodate family needs, as well as offering robust parental leave and emergency childcare resources.
The CEO World Awards are the latest recognition Saint-Gobain North America has received in recent months for the development of a dynamic workplace, including being named to Forbes Magazine’s 2022 List of America’s Best Employers for Women, being certified as a Global Top Employer by the Top Employers Institute for the seventh consecutive year, and being named to Yello and WayUp’s list of Top 100 Internship Programs of 2022.
