APEX General Contracting, an Illinois-based roofing contractor specializing in catastrophe restoration, has acquired Rockton, Ill.-based roofing company My Pros.
According to a blog post on APEX's website, the acquisition is intended to expand the company's footprint into retail contracting services and insurance restoration. Founded by Joe Metz, My Pros has been serving the local community for 10 years. Following the acquisition, Metz will work as a sales manager and trainer with APEX.
“We strive to be the best for our community and the families we serve," said APEX’s owner, Jim Stringham, in the blog post. "My Pros has done great work in the past, and we are excited to take this step with them under the APEX way of 'Restoration Above the Rest.'"
APEX states the My Pros brand will cease operation as APEX works to effectuate the acquisition, while current and future customers can expect to see improved systems and customer service due to the expanded capacity that APEX brings.
APEX General Contracting, with locations in five states, provides roofing, siding, gutter, insurance restoration and other general contracting services. It is a Platinum Preferred Contractor with Owens Corning and a Master Elite contractor with GAF.
