Tecta America USA, the national roofing concern, recently announced it acquired Saltsburg, Pa.-based Tuscano-Maher Roofing, which has served the greater Pittsburgh area for nearly 50 years and gives Tecta entrée into the Pennsylvania mid-state region.
In a statement, Tecta said that Tuscano-Maher Roofing had established itself as a premier provider of reroofing, service, maintenance, and new construction roofing and sheet metal services for local and state municipalities, property owners, and property managers. Its acquisition made sense because TMR's focus on safety and taking care of its people has been the key to its success.
"We are thrilled to welcome TMR to our family of companies … the TMR team shares in our belief that working safely, focusing on our people, and providing the best possible service to our customers allows for continued long-term partnership and success," Tecta's President and CEO, Dave Reginelli, said in the statement.
Tecta says TMR president Mike Maher will continue in his current role, as will Marty Nalevanko as vice president and general manager, and Joe Slapinski will remain vice president of sales and service. The new concern will now be known as Tuscano-Maher Roofing, a Tecta America Company LLC.
"We have known Tecta for quite a while and have worked together over the years as a strategic partner on multiple projects,” TMR President Mike Maher said in the statement. “We look forward to the opportunity this partnership provides to our people, our clients, and our supplier.”
Tecta America has continued to grow and how has a presence in more than 90 locations nationwide. It has become one of the nation’s largest corporate-owned roofing contractors and is an approved applicator of all major manufacturers.
