Power Home Remodeling, one of the nation’s leading exterior home remodelers and 2017 Residential Contractor of the Year, has been named a 2023 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® by Great Place To Work® and Fortune magazine, marking its sixth year on the coveted list. Landing at the 13th spot, Power rose a staggering 57 spots from its last ranking, its highest rank since its inclusion on the list.
Earning a top 15 spot means Power surpassed rigorous benchmarks. Based on an analysis of survey responses from more than 3,000 current employees across the country, 96% said that Power is a great place to work, compared to 57% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company. The company scored high across camaraderie, fair treatment, and leadership behavior.
“Building a great place to work has always been the driving force behind our organization,” said Power’s Co-CEO Asher Raphael in a written statement. “We’ve focused our efforts on creating a workplace built on trust, camaraderie, and growth. But we don’t shy away from hard work. Award-winning culture isn’t about ping pong tables and free snacks. It’s about doing hard things with great people.”
Power states it takes a holistic approach when it comes to taking care of employees. The home remodeling company provides benefits and perks that support health and wellness needs, financial independence, personal fulfillment, and more. Some standouts include:
- Leadership development and up-skilling programs, providing endless opportunity to thrive.
- A three-day wellness retreat and music festival in Mexico with acts like Bruno Mars, creating a one-of-a-kind experience.
- A financial stipend during challenging economic times.
“It’s in times like these that the best workplaces separate themselves,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “In a challenging economy, many companies reduce investments in their people and scale back goals for diversity, equity, and inclusion. But these companies, the 100 Best, relentlessly pursue a better work experience for every employee, and if anything, double down on the employee experience regardless of title, tenure, gender, or ethnicity. These companies know this is how you increase performance, productivity, and your innovation velocity when your firm needs it the most.”
In previous years, Power has also been recognized on lists such as Fortune Best Workplaces for Millennials™ and Great Place To Work's Best Workplaces for Parents™.
