Omnia Exterior Solutions, a portfolio company launched in January 2023, announced the addition of Dan Shear as the concern’s new Chief Financial Officer in an August 2 news release.
The company said Shear would focus on the financial organization of acquisitions, developing integration systems and processes for oncoming partners, and establishing a consistent business and financial practice throughout multiple operating divisions.

Shear has more than 25 years of financial management experience, including 22 years with private equity-backed companies. Most recently, Shear was CFO for Artisan Design Group, a portfolio concern in the finished flooring space started by Omnia co-founder Mike Blumenfeld.
“We know that Dan will contribute to the fast-paced growth of the organization,” Ziminski said. “[He] will seamlessly integrate with the various entrepreneurs and management teams with whom we partner.”
Shear earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the State University of New York [SUNY] at Geneseo. He is also Certified Management Accountant, CMA [inactive].
