ABC Supply Co. opened a new location in Reno, Nev., a city lovingly called “The Biggest Little City in the World,” and about 22 miles north of Lake Tahoenam; the company has named James Black as branch manager, according to an August 16 news release.

The company said Black is a construction ‘lifer,’ having spent his entire career in the construction industry. He joined ABC Supply as an inside sales associate in 2014 at the Roseville, Calif., location; Black graduated from ABC’s Branch Management Training Program in 2015 and was promoted to branch manager of the Sparks, Nev., outlet in 2016. 

“James has a genuine passion for helping our associates and customers grow and succeed, but he also devotes time to community organizations that work with veterans and children,” said ABC Supply West Region Vice President Matt Cooper. “The deep desire to serve is reflected in all of his work, and I am excited to see how his leadership will impact contractors in the Reno market.”

The new outlet is located at 640 Orrcrest Drive in Reno. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (PT) Monday through Friday. The branch’s phone number is (775) 800-2848.
