Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. the North American manufacturer of building products, announced it had acquired MAC Metal Architectural, based in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, which expands the company’s offerings through MAC’s high-end commercial and residential siding and roofing products. 

MAC has approximately 100 employees. Cornerstone announced the acquisition in an August 17 news release.

“The acquisition of MAC Metal Architectural expands our leading exteriors portfolio with value-added, residential-focused metal siding and roofing products that offer premium aesthetic design and durability solutions for our customers,” said Rose Lee, president and CEO of Cornerstone. “This business increases our exposure to a fast-growing product segment that also leverages our existing manufacturing expertise.”

Cornerstone said it expects the acquisition to be accretive through margin expansion, market share growth and manufacturing leverage.
