Roofing contractors have relied on their manufacturing partners for training and guidance for decades. But in recent years, improved training initiatives have also taken on important roles in retaining roofing crews while recruiting new employees to join them on the rooftop.
RC Publisher Jill Bloom recently asked Chuck Chapman, President, Tecta America, Arizona, and past president of the Western Roofing Contractors Association about how training programs are impacting their retention efforts.
“It’s the partnership between ourselves and the manufacturers that we work with, and they’re investing back in us because they understand it is actually a partnership,” Chapman explained in this brief video. “It’s a two-way street. And if we’re benefiting, they’re benefiting.
