Highland Roofing Company announced last week it had hired four new construction managers in its Raleigh, N.C., office: Silvano Heredia, Lee McCarthy, Angel Rodriguez and Xian Santiago.
In a Jan 26 news release, the company said all four new hires will manage Highland’s subcontractors to ensure the successful completion of new construction and re-roofing projects in the Triangle region.
Prior to joining Highland Roofing Company, Heredia worked as one of Highland’s top subcontractors for the past seven years. Prior to that, he worked for nine years at Baker Roofing, P&A Roofing and Sheet Metal, and Ramirez Roofing.
McCarthy has 15 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, where he’s worked as a construction superintendent on both new construction and reroof projects.
Rodriguez was previously a roofing tech with Highland Roofing Company, where he inspected and performed take-offs on reroofing projects. Prior to that, he served as a sheet metal manufacturer with KM Sheet Metal in Durham and as a fabricator for Service Roofing in Raleigh. He also served for 10 years in the U.S. Army.
Santiago has worked in a variety of roofing positions at Baker Roofing and Service Roofing. Prior to that, he served four years in the U.S. Air Force.
The company said the new additions are attributable to Highland’s significant growth in the Triangle region, where the company is working on landmark projects for leading general contractors, developers, engineering and property management firms.
“The explosive growth of our Raleigh office has allowed us to add four highly experienced construction managers with strong commercial roofing resumes,” said Brandon Watson, Raleigh project executive for Highland Roofing Company.
“Adding their leadership and experience will be a great addition to enhance our commitment to providing our customers with exceptional service and quality construction,” said Rich Karabin, vice president of Highland Roofing Company.
