Registration for the 2024 IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show, March 8–11, in Phoenix, is now open and show organizers say the event is expected to draw 1,700 attendees from across the globe.
In a Jan. 19 news release, organizers of the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants, or IIBEC, event include the presentation of the first-ever Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting Awards across five categories: exterior wall, roofing, waterproofing, commissioning, and building enclosure.
“We’re excited to present our first-ever Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting Awards during our international convention and trade show,” said IIBEC Executive Vice President and CEO Brian Pallasch. “The awards shine a light on the outstanding work our consultant members are doing every day, and our nominees ensure that the first group of winners will set a high standard for the future of this exciting new award.”
The convention will also provide more than 12 hours of educational presentations, including three general sessions and eight concurrent sessions, with more than 20 presentations to choose from, 130 exhibitors, six live product demonstrations, and a keynote address from Nikki Greenberg.
In addition, the event will host IIBEC’s annual awards luncheon, meeting of the members, president’s banquet, RCI-IIBEC Foundation Golf Tournament, and other networking opportunities.
“There’s so much to be excited about at our 2024 convention and trade show, including Nikki Greenberg, an architect who sees the coming impact of artificial intelligence, robots, humanoids, and augmented reality on the building enclosure industry,” said IIBEC President Amy Peevey.
“It’s not science fiction—it’s all happening now! And Nikki will help us understand how to adapt to and embrace these changes,” Peevey added.
