Victors Partners with Habitat for Humanity, Helps Local Vet
The Canton, Mich.-based roofing company and Habitat for Humanity provide a new roof for Kevin Hill, a local Detroiter and Coast Guard veteran.

Victors Home Solutions, based in the Detroit suburb of Canton, Mich., has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to replace the roof of a local Coast Guard veteran from Detroit.

Habitat for Humanity Detroit announced it has partnered with corporate partner Victors Home Solutions to provide a new roof for Kevin Hill, a Detroit resident and Coast Guard veteran, according to Stephanie Osterland, CEO, Habitat for Humanity Detroit.
"In providing a solid roof for Mr. Hill, we are able to help ensure he can remain in his home safely and comfortably, impacting both Mr. Hill while providing stability for the entire neighborhood,” Osterland said. “We are so thankful for Victors Home Solutions and their commitment to our mission.”
In a news release, Habitat for Humanity said Hill initially applied for roof repairs through the Habitat Detroit Veteran Critical Repair Program.
Victors has long incorporated helping those in need into its marketing program through its “Give Back” program: For every 100 roof replacements installed, Victors donates a roof free of charge. Victors has more than 200 employees and five locations in Michigan and Ohio.
