A resident living in St. Maries, Idaho, may or may not be a cat lover, but what CCTV footage captured slinking about her roof last week likely won felines no favor in her book.

As first reported on local television, the resident of St. Maries, a rural community of 2,501 people — and at least one feral feline — in north central Idaho, captured footage of a cougar on her roof early last Friday morning.
The woman reportedly thought the banging on the roof was a raccoon. She heard the feral car hissing and feared the cougar may have walked right through her trailer door.
Thankfully, the interaction did not come to pass. Not unexpectedly, living in the hinterlands, she also cited gratitude that her chickens were locked up safe and sound.
