Power Home Remodeling announced last Friday it had been recognized as one of Fortune’s ‘Best Workplaces for Millennials’ by Great Place To Work and Fortune magazine in 2024, earning a top spot at No. 8.
“Earning this recognition is incredibly meaningful because of the importance millennials place on purpose-driven work,” said POWER’s co-CEO, Asher Raphael, in a July 18 news release. “Our employees hold us to incredibly high standards and we take great pride in going to work every day to meet them. And that pursuit never ends.”
The company said the survey responses reflect “a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience.” Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for millennial employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier.
Power added that its ranking in the top 10 is a testament to how positively POWER employees feel about where they work. The company said it received a 97% rating in employees’ sentiment about POWER being a great workplace.
“Millennials are the largest generation in the workforce, and their experience is a strong indicator of overall company health,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “These workers demand what every great workplace should provide: credible leadership, meaningful work, and a respectful, fair place to do their jobs.”
POWER said the honor is gratifying, coming on the heels of its No. 14 rank on the Fortune ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ list.
“Congratulations to all of the Best Workplaces for Millennials finalists,” says Matt Heimer, executive editor for features at Fortune. “The expectations of this age cohort are setting a high bar for employers. Millennials place an unusually high priority on purpose-driven work and an equitable workplace.”
