Tecta America, the nation’s largest commercial roofing firm, announced last week it had acquired Sterling Commercial Roofing, based in Sterling, Ill., located about 65 miles northeast of Davenport, Iowa or 115 miles west of Chicago.
In a July 15 news release, Tecta said that Sterling Commercial Roofing, founded in 1986, operates across northern Illinois, eastern Iowa and southern Wisconsin. The company offers new construction, re-roofing and maintenance services.
“For almost 40 years, Sterling has been a premier commercial roofing contractor in Northern Illinois, Eastern Iowa and Southern Wisconsin,” said Dave Reginelli, Tecta's CEO. “Kevin Froeter and his team share our commitment to quality, integrity, and providing the best service in their markets; we look forward to working with Kevin and the rest of the Sterling team as they continue to provide outstanding service to their loyal customer base.”
Tecta said Froeter will continue as president alongside other key management members and his workforce. The operation will be known as Sterling Commercial Roofing, a Tecta America Company, LLC.
“We are extremely excited about partnering with Tecta and [look] forward to continuing to provide the highest quality work to all our customers,” Froeter said. “We are excited as well to have Tecta’s support and I am certain this partnership will help us achieve our goals and continue the Sterling legacy for many years to come.”
Tecta America has grown to more than 98 locations nationwide, is the largest roofing contractor in the United States and is an approved applicator of all major manufacturers.
