Antis Roofing and Waterproofing is celebrating 35 years of serving its clientele throughout Southern California; to celebrate its 35th anniversary, Antis Roofing is offering a free roof to a nonprofit in need —of a roof.

In a mid-July news release, Antis said that nominations for a Southern California-based 501(c)3 nonprofit that needs a new roof will be accepted on Antis' website beginning this Thursday and through October 1.

A panel of judges from the roofing industry and the Antis Executive team will evaluate submissions. A winner will be chosen and announced on November 4.

Criteria include the following:

  • Candidate must be a nonprofit with 501(c)3 status
  • Must be located in Orange County, Los Angeles County, San Diego County, Riverside County, or San Bernardino County
  • Other criteria are available on the contest website.

“We’ve spent 35 years keeping families safe and dry, just like all of these nonprofits that are providing food and shelter,” said Charles Antis, founder and CEO. “We salute them, and like them, we want to do whatever is needed to build bridges in the community.”

Since its founding, Antis said it has operated as a leader in corporate philanthropy, contributing more than $1 million in roof repairs and installations for communities in need. The company works closely with Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast, and many other organizations.
