The work started on Monday with Lyons Roofing and Pro-Tech Products donating the supplies and labor to repair and recoat the 17-year-old Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona roof, as first reported by KVOA-TV.

CEO and President Scott Matlick says the upkeep was needed, and the company couldn't be more thankful for the donation.

Neither Lyons Roofing nor Pro-Tech Products sought publicity, but this is the roofing industry at its best; Roofing Contractor knows this demonstration of kindness is just one of the countless selfless acts of generosity taking place nationwide every week.

Lyons Roofing, with locations in Phoenix and Tucson, was founded in 1993 and provides commercial and residential roofing services. The company has won awards from the Better Business Bureau, the State Compensation Fund of Arizona and the Arizona Roofing Contractors Association.

Pro-Tech Products is a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based manufacturer of elastomeric roof coating products that has been serving the Desert Southwest since the late 1980s.

RMHC of Southern Arizona houses families with sick children and will hold a ‘House Party’ fundraising event on Friday, September 27, to support them. You can find information about it and their other events here.
