Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal, a West Virginia-based commercial roofing firm, celebrated its ninth annual Amateur Golf Championship, raising an impressive $50,000 for Easterseals Rehabilitation Center, a disability and community services nonprofit.

According to the company’s September 17 news release, the KAGC has raised more than $373,000 for Easterseals since its inception in 2015. The event, held at the Oglebay Golf Club in Wheeling, W. Va., draws participants and spectators alike, including 7-year-old Noxx Yager of Shadyside, Ohio.

Kalkreuth said the golf championship had a meaningful impact on Noxx, who has significantly benefited from medical care and comprehensive occupational and physical therapy at Easterseals; Noxx added that his family appreciates the exceptional care provided by his pediatric nurse practitioner, Jennifer Diserio.

This year’s event was particularly meaningful to Kalkreuth personnel as Disero is the wife of Wes Nickel, the company’s vice president of Finance.

“It’s an honor to make a substantial donation to such a transformative organization that helps numerous families in the Ohio Valley,” said CEO Jim Hurley. “Kalkreuth remains dedicated to giving back to the Wheeling community and supporting institutions like Easterseals, which profoundly impact the lives of many children, including our friends and neighbors.”
