Birmingham, Ala.-headquartered Apex Roofing & Restoration announced the promotion of Tim Burke, formerly the Chief Financial Officer, to president of the company less than two years after joining the company. 

The company announced in a September 25 news release that David Andrews has been hired as executive vice president and the new CFO. 

Burke will oversee the company’s strategic initiatives, focusing on growth and operational efficiency. Since joining Apex two years ago, the company said Burke has been instrumental in optimizing financial operations and contributing to the company’s performance during his stint at CFO

Apex also named his successor, David Andrews, CFO. Andrews joined Apex in June 2024 as executive vice president and CFO, bringing over 20 years of experience building private equity-backed, multi-site service businesses in the healthcare and transportation sectors.

Before joining Apex, Andrews served in various leadership roles, providing financial oversight and strategic direction in developing high-growth businesses. He began his career at Ernst & Young and holds degrees from the University of Alabama and Harvard. Andrews also served in the U.S. Army.
