One of my duties as editorial director for Roofing Contractor is to serve on an advisory board for the International Roofing Expo (IRE).

 On Tuesday, Feb. 21, one day before the 2012 International Roofing Expo officially opened, attendees and exhibitors rolled up their sleeves.

It wasn’t a hurricane but the 2012 International Roofing Expo® that took Orlando by storm in late February.

The 2012 International Roofing Expo® was the gathering place as the roofing construction and maintenance industry met in Orlando recently for the annual tradeshow and conference.

Awesome is in the mind of the attender. For this attendee (for full disclosure, a stakeholder in the operation), it was the best trade-show and educational seminar experience in recent memory.

There were times when it seemed impossible to link companies across the vast territory of the United States.
