Beacon Roofing Supply has acquired Crossroads Roofing Supply, Inc., a mainstay operation for residential and commercial contractors in Oklahoma, for two decades. This acquisition is part of Beacon's Ambition 2025 goals, expanding its branch footprint through both acquisition and greenfield-built growth.

Beacon announced an agreement to repurchase all outstanding shares of its Series A Cumulative Convertible Participating Preferred Stock held by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC; the company also provided a preview of its 2023 Q2 results, which will be announced after the market closes on August 3.

Beacon Building Products was named a 2023 Platinum Employer by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators. The high-level distinction was awarded to only six companies, recognizing a commitment to providing training and certification to its employees through the CCO.

Beacon, the national roofing and building products distributor, announced on June 15 that Michelle Ly Hall, operations manager at Hall Roofing and Construction, has been named the 2023 North American Female Roofing Professional of the Year.

Five finalists will be announced in May, and members of the public will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite finalists.

With this latest branch opening, Beacon now operates 34 locations across the Lone Star State.

With these new locations, Beacon has opened 15 greenfield branches in 2022, exceeding its original commitment to 10 for the year.

Beacon is expanding its footprint in Texas with two new locations to serve commercial and residential customers.

The branch establishes service to customers in the northwest Illinois metro area, adding to Beacon’s 14 branches in the state.
