Students are encouraged to apply for the chance to receive a $5,000 scholarship from the Davis Memorial Foundation for the 2021 academic year.

The foundation trustees unanimously agreed to honor a former WSRCA president and foundation chairman of the trustees who passed earlier this year.

The Davis Memorial Foundation gives priority to students who want to attend a trade school, or get a college or university degree that relates to the construction industry.

Viera began his role as executive director for the WSRCA on Aug. 1. He has 19 years of knowledge and experience with the WSRCA, where he recently served as the director of expo and events.
