DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - Hanson Roof Tile Inc. has upgraded its 50-year limited product warranty to a limited lifetime product warranty for its concrete roof tile products. The warranty had previously been used only in California and Arizona.
CARLISLE, Pa. - Carlisle SynTec Inc. announced the sale of the one-billionth square foot of its Sure-Weld TPO membrane. Introduced in 1997, the record-setting membrane was installed at Beringer Vineyards in St. Helena, Calif.. Totaling 120,000 square feet, the project covered two buildings and was installed by Warren Construction & Roofing Inc. from nearby Santa Rosa.

Hastings will assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business and the strategic direction of the company. Hastings has over 25 years of experience in the roofing and building materials industry. Most recently Hastings was President/CEO of Padua, a consulting company specializing in business turnaround and business development.
INDIANAPOLIS - Firestone Building Products Co. announced two executive promotions to its senior management team. Former vice president of sales and marketing Bob Delaney was named chief operating officer, reporting directly to Mike Gorey, the company’s president. Delaney joined the company in 1994 and has worked in the roofing industry for 23 years.
NEWTON, Mass. - The 16th Annual METALCON event held Oct. 3-5 at the Tampa Convention Center filled 80,000 square feet of space and drew more than 7,300 design and construction professionals from 40 different countries. The three-day event featured 715 booths, a comprehensive 38-session conference program and new live-action demonstrations of field techniques. Twenty new programs focused on methods for creating energy-efficient buildings that can withstand extreme weather conditions.
