Garland Industries
Inc. has launched a new subsidiary, Garland Energy Systems Inc.,
which is dedicated to making large-scale alternative energy solutions for
commercial, industrial, and institutional customers as easy to purchase,
install, and maintain as utility electricity.
ADCO Global,
through its Michigan-based operating subsidiary ADCO Products, has acquired the
Millennium Adhesive Companies, including Millennium Adhesive Products Inc., WTT
Systems LLC, and their affiliates, based in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

Energy Conversion Devices Inc. of Rochester
Hills, Mich., a global manufacturer of thin-film flexible solar laminates, and
CertainTeed Corporation of Valley Forge, Pa., a building products manufacturer,
announced a joint agreement to develop roofing-integrated photovoltaic products
for the residential market, combining ECD’s UNI-SOLAR cells with CertainTeed
roofing products.
