As we head into 2013, I’d just like to take a moment to wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year. 

The International Codes, or I-Codes, have served as models for almost all state and local codes in the United States since 1994. 

I can’t believe another new year is sneaking up on us.

 International Codes can be confusing. The 2012 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) includes new standards for almost every component in the building envelope, and these standards are further increased in the new International Green Construction Code (IgCC), which serves as an overlay code.
