Be prepared for information galore in the December issue ofRoofing Contractor. That’s because we
highlight the 6th Annual Best of Success (BOS) conference held Sept. 26-28 in
Denver.
Chris Barrow, CEO, Eagleview Technologies in Bothwell, Wash., said Best of Success gave his company
employees an opportunity to mingle with customers.
“It’s a fabulous conference to listen to real business owner’s talk about
real problems,” Barrow said. “I think it’s great for our business and for
roofing contractors trying to improve their business and how to run it better
and become more profitable. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn
more.”
Joe Nussbaum, Western Regional Sales Manager, Atlas Roofing Corp. in
Castle Rock, Colo., said the networking part was very
worthwhile as he was able to talk with contractors from all over
country.
“Overall, the advice and presentations provided way to improve your
business,” he said. “I was very impressed.”
You will read features on each speaker who had a presentation at BOS,
plus plenty of photos and quotes from the best in the roofing
industry.
Kevin McQuaide, General Manager, C.A. Eckstein Inc. in
Cincinnati, Ohio, said he learned how many contractors are
using Facebook and various new social mediums to work into their marketing
strategies.
“Some of the ideas seem pretty simple and pretty cost-effective,” he
said. “I look forward to getting back and integrate what I learned into our
marketing program.”
So, if you missed BOS this year and are looking forward to our next
conference at a yet-to-be-determined site in 2011, then the December issue is
for you.
“The conference is a way to keep up with market trends,” said Mike
Treaster, owner of Mike’s Construction in Hannibal, Mo.
“Also, I have met people, who I have dealt with on phone, so it was great to
meet them (at BOS).”
