Residential and commercial roofers no doubt are ready to
answer the challenge when Hurricane Irene hit over the weekend from North Carolina to Maine.
One commercial roofer, Tecta America, is just one company
that took on a proactive storm management approach.
Dave Schupmann, Senior Vice President with Tecta America,
said immediate roof repairs are critical to preventing further damage or
business interruption. Like other companies, he said Tecta will be providing its
clients with a single point of contact to report roof damage in the event of an
emergency.
Tecta America’s response efforts are also
aided by a new advanced Weather Command System, which monitors weather patterns
around the country in real time and assesses potential damage.
The damage caused by Hurricane Irene means residential
and commercial roofers on the eastern seaboard are ready to go to work and help
home owners and businesses get back on track.
