Owens Corning is selling its glass reinforcements business to Mumbai, India-based Praana Group for $755M, aligning with its focus on North American and European building products. 

In an unexpected twist, Tecta America, the nation’s largest commercial roofing contractor, may be up for sale after a story broke that its private equity owners are “considering strategic options.” The company’s potential valuation could be as high as $4 billion. 

Texas-based IB Roof Systems, founded in 1978 by Larry Stanley and now led by his son Jason, announced it would be acquired by Kingspan Group, the Irish conglomerate, marking Kingspan’s first entry into the U.S. single-ply roofing market.

Soundcore Capital Partners completed its sale of Roofing Corp. of America to FirstService Corp.; the deal closed on Dec. 15, and financial details were not disclosed.
