Beacon announced that Brooke Laizure, owner of Whirlwind Roofing & Construction, won the 2024 North American Female Roofing Professional of the Year, recognizing her dedication to the roofing industry and community empowerment.

In its fourth year, Beacon's 2024 'North American Female Roofing Professional of the Year' voting is now open. The winner will receive $10,000, and four finalists will each receive $1,000 for professional development.

The 2022 winner attended a college carpentry program after high school, and in 2015, started her own successful roofing business.
