GAF's EnergyGuard NH TCPP-Free Polyiso insulation, now priced at standard polyiso rates, offers high thermal value, sustainability certifications, and a halogen-free flame retardant. 

GAF commenced production at its fifth polyisocyanurate insulation plant in Peru, Ill., producing GREENGUARD-Gold certified EnergyGuard insulation products and adding 70 jobs to the local economy. 

According to Justin Koscher, president of the Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association (PIMA), rooftops are crucial for energy efficiency and can benefit from polyisocyanurate insulation, highlighting opportunities for roofing contractors to improve building performance.

GAF supported a mental health and recovery center in Peru, Ill., the location of its fifth polyiso plant, as part of its GAF Community Matters initiative by donating materials for a new roof.

The plant, which produces energy-efficient insulation products, was built with the goal of achieving LEED Platinum status.

Atlas' capacity improvements in Mississippi and Ohio are scheduled to be completed by the middle of 2024.
