The Home Depot, the nation’s largest home improvement retailer, finalized its $18.25 billion acquisition of SRS Distribution, enhancing its position in the building materials industry and expanding its market by an estimated $50 billion. 

Home Depot announced the mandatory waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act for its acquisition of SRS Distribution had expired on June 13, clearing a key regulatory hurdle.

The company operates a network of three locations in the greater Chicago area, each under a unique brand name, and currently employs a team of 34 employees.

SRS Distribution has acquired Roofers Supply Inc., expanding its footprint in Utah with a network of six branches that serve roofing contractors and other professionals.

SRS Distribution continues to expand its footprint with the recent acquisition of Schultz Roofing Supply Company, making it SRS' fifth location in the Great Lakes State.

SRS Distribution's acquisition of the Texas-based Travis Roofing represents the largest number of locations acquired in a single transaction for SRS.
