The parents of an 8-year-old Rhode Island boy call him a hero after his quick thinking saved his father, who fell and was injured while working on a roof, by calling 911 and stopping the bleeding.

Michigan-based roofing company, The Roof Resource, launches "Be The Hero" program, aiding groups in fundraising while offering homeowners significant savings on roof replacements.   

Roofing contractors working late were in the right place at the right time to help a family escape from a dangerous fire.
