This year's Beacon of Hope contest has expanded to a total of 14 prizes and has opened the submission process to include Gold Star families.

The fifth annual "Beacon of Hope" program by Beacon Building Supply invites nominations to help military veterans needing assistance receive a new roof. The contest is open to all veterans as an expression of appreciation for their service; nominations will be accepted through October 6. 

Beacon will deliver and facilitate roof replacements for 10 veteran contest winners at no cost to the award recipients.

Beacon, along with local roofing contractors, will provide nine grand prize winners with a free roof thanks to its annual Beacon of Hope contest.
