With a dedicated space and improved programming, the focus was on women during National Women in Roofing's NWIR Days, held Feb. 16-17 at the Grand Hyatt River Walk in San Antonio, Texas.
Around 500 members signed up for this year's event, which was held before the 2025 International Roofing Expo. Attendees had the opportunity to explore a variety of subjects, hands-on demos and more in more than 30 breakout sessions held throughout the day on Feb. 17. Whether it was enhancing leadership skills, learning about specific products like metal roofing, or discovering how technology can save some headaches, women gained valuable knowledge while having some fun along the way.
The keynote presentation, led by comedian Katie Goodman, had audience members participating in fun improv activities to not only get to know one another, but learn how improvisational skills can be applied to personal and professional life. NWIR also shined a spotlight on its standout members and councils at its award ceremony.
Between sessions, attendees could enjoy crafting and networking opportunities and make connections days before the IRE was set to begin.
RC was on site to capture the fun and excitement. Enjoy a few of the images captured during the event with our exclusive photo gallery.
