D&D Roofing and Sheet Metal, Sparks, Nev., purchased Don James Roofing, Carson City, Nev. With this acquisition, D&D Roofing becomes the largest roofing company in northern Nevada. D&D has additional facilities in Elko, Nev., with Porter Roofing Co., and operates in the Lake Tahoe area with Van Dyne and Sons’ Roofing.

Ken Dillon, president of D&D Roofing and Sheet Metal, said that Don James, founder of Don James Roofing, will remain with the company for an indefinite period as a consultant. Dillon also announced that Gary Koder, previously with Malarkey Roofing as well as St. Johns Roofing, will take over as the branch manager at Don James.
