Velux, Greenwood, S.C., has announced the acquisition of Sun Tunnel Systems Inc., the nation’s leading manufacturer of flexible-tube skylights. The acquisition, effective Dec. 6, 2002, includes stock of the company, trade names, patents, inventory and manufacturing facilities. Tim Miller, Velux America president, says that Velux will offer customers Sun Tunnels in addition to its extensive skylight, roof window, flashing kit and accessory product selection.
