BASF’s Urethane Specialties business unit, Wyandotte, Mich., is now distributing Zerodraft® Two-Component Polyurethane Insulating Air Seal Kits and Zerodraft®
One-Component Polyurethane Foam Sealants as part of its total building envelope offering. The two air-barrier-system continuity components were developed for use in retrofit and new construction applications in both residential and commercial, industrial and institutional markets. The kits are installed at junctions between building elements, in voids, gaps, cracks and holes and around penetrations in a building assembly to restore and/or create continuity and control air leakage. Zerodraft One-Component Polyurethane Foam Sealants are installed in wall crevices, at roof-wall connections, mechanical and electrical penetrations in walls, floors and roofs and the perimeter of door and window openings.
