More than 20 roofing contractors and companies earned a coveted spot on Inc. Magazine’s 2019 Inc. 5000 List.
The list ranks the fastest-growing private companies in the nation. They are ranked according to the percentage revenue growth when comparing 2015 to 2018.
To qualify, companies must be U.S. based, privately held, for profit, and independent as of Dec. 31, 2018. They must also have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2015.
Joining its fellow roofing contractors for the first time on the list is Roman Roofing. Based in Cape Coral, Fla., the company showed a whopping 2,482 percent growth after earning $12.8 million in 2018, placing it at number 152 on the list.
“We get up every morning, just wanting to do the best we can for our employees and the community,” said CEO Norm Dopfer in a written statement. “The credit really goes to our 100-plus dedicated employees who carry out our vision every day to our customers.”
Returning on this year’s list is Elite Roofing of Denver, which jumped in rank from 3,597 in 2018 to number 2,651 on this year’s list with a growth of 147 percent and revenue at $16 million.
“We are so excited to achieve this for the second time,” said Brie Reis, CEO of Elite Roofing. “We want to thank our staff and our sales team but, most importantly, our customers who have trusted us for more than a decade. We look forward to continuing to be Colorado’s most trusted roofer for many years to come.”
Several roofing companies on the list are also honorees on Roofing Contractor’s 2019 Top 100 Roofing Contractors list, which rates roofing companies based on revenue in addition to tracking the percentage of commercial roofing versus residential roofing. Other companies are on our 2019 Top 150 list.
