HILLSIDE, Ill. — The Chicago Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) presents its 37th Annual Trade Show & Seminars event, featuring more than 135 exhibitors and 12 hours of programming.
The free, three-day event attracts roofing contractors from all over the Midwest, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Iowa. The venue allows for contractors to expand their knowledge in the areas of technology, safety, products and service.
The event will kick off with afternoon sessions on mentoring, branding and network integration as well as marketing, and ends with “Roofing Week in Chicago” welcome reception. The schedule for Jan. 16 includes the popular roofing and waterproofing industry breakfast before the trade show floor opens. Afternoon sessions include safety for steep slope roofing, crisis management and building envelopes.
The final day includes sessions on safety, recruiting, and a timely presentation about recreational marijuana and its impact on the Illinois construction industry. Other topics of note include building code updates for Chicago and Illinois as a whole.
This year’s event will take place at the Drury Lane Conference Center in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill. Trade show hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17.
